The Nigerian military has released the names and photos of suspected murderers of the 17 military personnel slain in the Okuama community of Delta State on 14 March. It may be recalled that suspected residents of the Okuama Community, Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State on Thursday, 14 March ambushed and murdered the Commanding Officer of 181 Army Amphibious Battalion, two majors, one captain, and 13 soldiers. The troops were ambushed and killed while responding to a distress call arising from a clash between Okuama and Okoloba communities in the South-southern state.
Consequently, those declared wanted for the heinous crime according to the Nigerian military circular include Ekpekpo Arthur, a professor, Andaowei Dennis Bakriri, Akevwru Daniel Omotegbo (a.k.a Amagben), and Akata Malawa David. Other suspects are Igoli Ebi, the only female, Sinclear Oliki, Clement Ikolo Ogenerukeywe, and Reuben Baru. More on this development to unfold.
