As countless times before in 2024, the national grid has witnessed another collapse on Wednesday, 11 December resulting in blackouts across the nation.
The grid experienced multiple collapses in October 2024 alone, with the Federal Government promising a permanent solution to the situation.
A post on the official account of Nigeria’s national grid on X revealed that the collapse occurred at about 2:06 pm on Wednesday.
“The major grid setback has occurred and the restoration is to commence,” it reads.
