Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has returned to Nigeria.
He returned on Thursday evening.
Tinubu had been in London, UK, for about two weeks.
His absence had sparked speculations around his health.
He was rumoured to have travelled to London to seek medical treatment.
A purported photo of a sickly Tinubu receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital abroad had rippled at the weekend, but Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu’s presidential campaign spokesman, dismissed the photo as fake.
On Monday, Tinubu posted a video of himself working out — in reaction to the wild claims.
He wrote: “Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign. Well… Nope. This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One.”
