Bola Ahmed Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Wednesday, met with former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta, Ogun state.
Both men are political rivals and have had a frosty relationship since Obasanjo was president.
TheLink understands the meeting began a few minutes past 1pm today.
TheLink also learnt the meeting is connected with the presidential bid of Tinubu.
Tinubu had visited Ogun a couple of times since he launched his bid for the presidency, but this is the first time he is visiting Obasanjo.
The former Lagos governor had described Obasanjo as an ”expired leader” in 2019, after the former president alleged there was a plot to rig the 2019 presidential election in favour of President Muhammadu Buhari.
